Musk shared the update in his interview at the Abundance Summit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Musk, Tesla is in the final stages of completing Optimus 3, which he described as one of the world\u2019s most advanced humanoid robots.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re in the final stages of completion of Optimus 3, which is really going to be by far the most advanced robot in the world. Nothing\u2019s even close. In fact, I haven\u2019t even seen demos of robots that are as good as Optimus 3,\u201d Musk said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SawyerMerritt\/status\/2031888306154140143\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">set expectations<\/a> on the pace of Optimus 3\u2019s production ramp, stating that the initial volumes of the humanoid robot will likely be very low. And then, probably reach high volume production around summer next year,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interestingly enough, the CEO hinted that Tesla is looking to iterate on the robot quickly, potentially releasing a new Optimus design every year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ll have Optimus 4 design complete next year. We\u2019ll try to release a new robot design every year,\u201d Musk stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tesla has already outlined broader plans for <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.teslarati.com\/tesla-giga-texas-massive-optimus-v4-production-line\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">scaling Optimus production<\/a> beyond its first manufacturing line. And that\u2019s Line one.
