The company plans to compete with the largest ride-hailing services in the world and claims that owners will even be able to rest while their car makes money for them.<\/p>\n<p>However, they are in need of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teslarati.com\/tesla-execs-fsd-worldwide-rollout-strategy\/\">completing the Full Self-Driving suite<\/a>, which evidently seems to be moving forward based on releases of the Beta program and statements from the company<\/p>\n<div class=\"in-article-ad\"><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4672671650557568\" data-ad-slot=\"7845413937\"><\/ins><script>(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});<\/script><\/div>\n<p>Tesla has even scheduled a specific date for the Robotaxi unveiling: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teslarati.com\/tesla-robotaxi-august-unveiling\/\">August 8<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Last night, the effort took another step forward with the release of a new graphic that Tesla showed in its Q1 2024 Shareholder Deck, revealing what the ride-hailing app for Robotaxi might look like:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"post-263166 media-263166\" class=\"align-none\">\n<p><div style=\"width: 2570px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.teslarati.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/tesla-ridehailing-app-render-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1274\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Credit: Tesla<\/p><\/div><\/figure>\n<p>It shows how incredibly refined the app could end up being, with details like interior climate, real-time vehicle tracking, and other features shown.<\/p>\n<p>Tesla detailed some of the developments it made in the Robotaxi and autonomous ride-hailing program <a href=\"https:\/\/digitalassets.tesla.com\/tesla-contents\/image\/upload\/IR\/TSLA-Q1-2024-Update.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">over the past quarter<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>&#8220;We have been investing in the hardware and software ecosystems necessary to achieve vehicle autonomy and a ride-hailing service. We believe a scalable and profitable autonomy business can be realized through a vision-only architecture with end-to-end neural networks, trained on billions of miles of real-world data.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Of course, we have reasons to be skeptical. Although Tesla did not outline an exact timeline of when the Robotaxi or FSD will be complete so the ride-hailing service can be activated, the renders of the app seem to show the company believes it could be coming soon.<\/p>\n<p>However, Tesla has said for years the FSD suite would be done, and autonomy would be solved &#8220;next year.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Still, Tesla&#8217;s development of the Robotaxi could be a major money-maker moving forward, and it seems the company is putting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teslarati.com\/tesla-tsla-needed-elon-musk-delivered-wedbush\/\">its eggs in this basket<\/a> for the future.<\/p>\n<p><em>I\u2019d love to hear from you!
