(@raderje) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/raderje\/status\/1771905762308022761?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 24, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Autopark updates have been coming for a long time.<\/p>\n<p>Tesla owners have requested improvements on the feature for several years. These requests were finally answered earlier this month, as CEO Elon Musk <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teslarati.com\/tesla-summon-autopark-banish-improvements\/\">confirmed that Autopark and Summon improvements<\/a> would be coming to customers.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-embedded-content\" data-secret=\"oa3WrV56Pv\"><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.teslarati.com\/tesla-summon-autopark-banish-improvements\/\">Tesla Summon to get major improvements, Autopark gets a new name<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" style=\"position: absolute; visibility: hidden;\" title=\"&#8220;Tesla Summon to get major improvements, Autopark gets a new name&#8221; &#8212; TESLARATI\" src=\"https:\/\/www.teslarati.com\/tesla-summon-autopark-banish-improvements\/embed\/#?secret=r7dVY4L3Q7#?secret=oa3WrV56Pv\" data-secret=\"oa3WrV56Pv\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" frameborder=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" marginheight=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Last week, these improvements <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teslarati.com\/tesla-autopark-new-version-software-update\/\">finally started to roll out to customers<\/a> in the form of a Software Update. Version 2024.2.11 equipped several improvements, including a new version of Autopark, which included the following release notes:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>\u201cYour vehicle can now automatically park \u2014 and parallel park \u2014 in designated spaces.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>When you\u2019re driving at low speed, your display highlights potential parking spaces. Autopark shows a circular P symbol to suggest a space, but you can choose any highlighted space.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>To start parking, stop the vehicle, press Start, and release the steering wheel so it can move freely. Refer to the Owner\u2019s Manual for more detail.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>As with all Autopilot features, you must continue to pay attention and be ready to take immediate action, including canceling Autopark.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Tesla was attempting to bring the feature to vehicles that were utilizing Vision-only for its semi-autonomous driving functions.<\/p>\n<p><em>I\u2019d love to hear from you!
